What is the most important thing
about your walk with Christ?
Fellowship with my Lord and Savior. I
want to make Him my sole Source and Portion, and fulfill His purpose
for me.
What convinced you of the truth in
Jesus?
The Bible, which is the infallible word
of God, has been the truth from which I based my belief in Christ.
The account of His conception, life and death, along with prophecies
of His coming. From what the Church has continued to achieve in
ministry and evangelism one has no doubt in Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior.
When, why, and how do you pray?
I pray as often as I am able to. I find
myself contemplating His love, reading or listening to His word. I
ponder about the Lord lots of times. I am not good at loud prayer. I
pray a lot at heart. I meditate on His Word. When I have pressing
problems, I lie prostrate and cry it out to Him. As I read the Bible
I cry at every powerful word.
What denomination, if any, do you
belong to, and why that one?
I am Pentecostal. I used to be a
staunch Catholic until 1996 when I gave my life to the Lord. I went
to that church because I used to watch them on television.
What do you think it will be like to
exist in heaven, and who are you looking forward to seeing?
I once had a dream where Jesus took me
to heaven. I met God the Father and the Holy Spirit. I saw Abraham,
Moses, Elijah, and was shown doors to mansions of other patriarchs.
It was very beautiful and serene. I did not want to come back to
Earth. Whenever I pray I always see myself standing at the throne of
God which I saw that day. I look forward to being with the Holy
Trinity and the family of God. It will definitely be glorious!!!
What is your favorite biblical verse,
and why?
Jeremiah 29:11-14 "For I know the
plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then
you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to
you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your
heart I will be found by you.”
This assures me that God has ordained
good for me, and all I need to do is remain close to Him. I know for
sure that He has a purpose for me and He wills to accomplish it, and
its all for my good and to His glory. I am sure that I am in His
heart and He will not abandon me or forsake me. I am encouraged to
pray because He will answer when I call.
After you’ve left this world to be
with the Lord, what do you want people to say about you? What should
be the first sentence of YOUR biography?
"Mary loved and served the Lord
her entire life." I want people to say that they want the God of
Mary, because I will have lived a life that brought glory to Him.
