What is the most important thing
about your walk with Christ?
The fact that I can save people from
eternal damnation.
What convinced you of the truth in
Jesus?
I believe it was my family – because
of their faith in Jesus and their prayers, my husband and I are
saved. I started seeing Christ-likeness in my family’s lives and I
wanted that for myself.
When, why, and how do you pray?
I pray in the morning at home, at work,
at night or if I feel a tug at my heart for someone. I pray because
prayer works. If I am praying for someone I lay hands on them and
when I am by myself I pray somewhere quiet, hoping to hear from God.
What denomination, if any, do you
belong to, and why that one?
I belong to Joy Fellowship Church
located in New York. I love Joy Fellowship because their focus is on
your personal relationship with God. You come as you are and God
deals with your heart. If there are areas in your life that need
pruning God will reveal them to you and work with you to clean up. A
few of the churches I have attended require you to dress a certain
way and they tend to be legalized.
What do you think it will be like to
exist in heaven, and who are you looking forward to seeing?
I think existing in heaven would be
like existing in some place full of love, where you feel peace all
the time. I look forward to seeing God.
What is your favorite biblical verse,
and why?
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with
all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” I like this
verse because I can use it in any circumstance. Just trust God.
After you’ve left this world to be
with the Lord, what do you want people to say about you? What should
be the first sentence of YOUR biography?
I would like people to say, “What a
Godly person, so full of love, peace, patience, and kindness.”
