What is the most important thing
about your walk with Christ?
Without doubt, there is a marked
difference between knowing Christ and living in the world. Walking
with Christ has made me a different person in that the manifestation
of the fruit of the Spirit cannot be compared with anything else when
it comes to living a meaningful life. Its actually the big difference
between LIGHT AND darkness, TRUTH and falsehood, GOOD and evil,
RIGHTEOUSNESS and unrighteousness, and apparently LIFE and death.
What convinced you of the truth in
Jesus?
I come from a country where occultism
is a practiced phenomenon and it does not matter whether anyone
believes this or not, but the truth is that it exists. I have the
gift of dreams and so, when I dream, I know that God is telling me
something. In 1982, I had a dream in which I found myself in a
palace, but soon after, some people came and took me and I was
slaughtered with my meat cut into pieces. Then this was scattered,
but suddenly a wind came and drew all the pieces together. Then I saw
myself crawling out of the palace through a side fence into the open,
and eventually saw myself climbing up a very high mountain till I got
to the top. Suddenly a sun, mightier than our earthly sun, shone on
me and then I woke up sweating profusely. I woke up my wife and told
her the dream but I also affirmed to her that I will not die. I then
told her that I will tell it to the world that in Christ is life.
Since then I have not stopped to do this whenever I have the
opportunity. No one lives to tell this kind of dream, and you only
hear it as a mythological tale, but here I am twenty-three years
after still telling you this truth.
The truth is that only in Jesus Christ
is there life in which the power of death does not have dominion
authority. This is the life He has given! He lives in me and He will
lead me to His eternal rest.
When, why, and how do you pray?
I pray as Christ Jesus commits me.
Though we have the normal devotion and the evening prayer period in
my family, I pray whenever Christ says to. My prayer is according to
the need, beginning with thanksgiving, then the request for unknown
sins and faults, intercession and then whatever God has put on my
mind.
What denomination, if any, do you
belong to, and why that one?
I am Baptist and I chose that one
because I found that Baptists teach the true work of God in its naked
sense, unadulterated and unpolluted.
What do you think it will be like to
exist in heaven, and who are you looking forward to seeing?
The only inheritance one must primarily
aspire to own is to be in heaven since if in God is life, then
everything that pertains to godliness and life will be there.
As recorded in the book of Revelations:
“There will be no more sorrow, pain, death, tears and to crown it,
we will inherit all things.” (Rev:21:4-7)
What is your favorite biblical verse,
and why?
“For we who live are always delivered
to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be
manifested in our mortal flesh.” (2CO:4:11)
After I overcame the effect of the
dream God revealed to me the truth surrounding what the believer must
pass through so that through him and when the LIFE promised by Jesus
is manifested in his mortal flesh, others can be made to see that in
TRUTH only in Christ Jesus is eternal life. I AM A LIVING PROOF OF
THIS ETERNAL LIFE! Consequently, my dream is the testimony of eternal
life to me. If any one set of people claims that they can receive or
be a part of God’s eternal kingdom through what they teach or
preach, they are incorrect. Since Christ is the ONE sent by God to
mankind to reveal the way to receive this eternal life, He is God’s
ONLY link between mankind and God’s eternal kingdom. It is not
possible to enter this kingdom without coming through Jesus Christ.
Christ’s life has been manifested in my own mortal flesh and this
is why I am alive today.
After you’ve left this world to be
with the Lord, what do you want people to say about you? What should
be the first sentence of YOUR biography?
I want them to say that I lived for
CHRIST JESUS. The first word of my biography is: “I know that I am
eternally alive and death has no authority to stop me from being with
God!”
