What is the most important thing
about your walk with Christ?
That I feel that I am “walking”
with Him throughout the day and night. The most important thing is
that I feel connected and supported by His love and care always.
What convinced you of the truth in
Jesus?
I can’t put it into words. One day I
just knew it was the truth and that I believed it with all my heart.
I think the Holy Spirit entered my heart to be honest, but whatever
it is, it was not a conscious decision, it just happened.
When, why, and how do you pray?
I pray off and on all day. Little
prayers escape my mind and sometimes my lips throughout my awake
days. I pray with focus and more deliberation when I’m driving and
when I first lay down at night to go to sleep. When I awake in the
morning, I ask God for forgiveness and give thanks for my blessings
before starting the day.
What denomination, if any, do you
belong to, and why that one?
I belong to the Methodist Church in my
hometown. I was originally a Presbyterian and still visit the First
Presbyterian Church of San Antonio, Texas, when I have the
opportunity.
What do you think it will be like to
exist in heaven, and who are you looking forward to seeing?
I think it is a spiritual existence and
one unlike what we have here on earth.
I look forward to seeing or being with
my loved ones. My parents, for example, I believe will be there.
What is your favorite biblical verse,
and why?
Isiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with
you.”
After you’ve left this world to be
with the Lord, what do you want people to say about you? What should
be the first sentence of YOUR biography?
That she believed in God and that His
Son and our Savior was Jesus Christ!
